The President of Al-Furqan University, Professor Dr. Abi Saeed Al-Diwachi, participated in the second meeting between public and private universities in Nineveh Governorate. The meeting, held at the University of Nineveh, was chaired by Professor Dr. Muzahim Al-Khayat, Chairman of the Parliamentary Education Committee, and Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul,With the participation of presidents and deans of private universities and colleges, the meeting addressed the challenges facing universities in the areas of undergraduate and graduate studies and scholarships. It also discussed amending the Higher Education Fund’s instructions to support infrastructure and scientific research. Discussions also addressed the system for loaning professors between public and private universities, strengthening university partnerships in laboratories and scientific research, and utilizing the University of Mosul stadium to serve university sports teams.
